Art Expositions & Assets

For over twenty years, the LVM Foundation for Bora Bora has been quietly building something truly extraordinary — a living, breathing collection of fine art that graces the walls and private casings of La Villa Mahana, Bora Bora's most exquisite and world-renowned fine dining restaurant.
Each evening, from six until ten, guests from across the globe are welcomed into an experience that transcends the ordinary. Where the most exquisite and masterfully crafted cuisine unfolds, course by course, alongside a collection of fine art chosen with decades of passion and discernment. Few fine dining experiences in the world can claim such a marriage of culinary excellence and artistic provenance — and it is this singular vision that has made La Villa Mahana truly world-renowned.
The collection — representing nearly $900,000 in carefully and passionately curated works — spans a breathtaking range of genres and forms: hand-carved tikis and ceremonial spears, ceramics and pottery, sweeping landscapes, intimate portraits, bold abstracts, and luminous impressionist canvases. Statues and sculptural works stand alongside paintings by some of French Polynesia's most celebrated and world-renowned artists, among them Teva, Viktor, Gigi, and Myriam Prokop. Each piece has been chosen with intention, and each carries its own story, its own provenance, its own voice.
This is the brainchild and life's work of Damien Dovio-Rinaldi, his wife Vaere, and their daughter Mahanatea — a family whose humanitarian vision and profound sense of social responsibility to the island of Bora Bora has shaped every corner of this collection. Through La Villa Mahana and the LVM Foundation, they have elevated local artists from beloved figures to internationally recognised names, giving back not only to the artists themselves but to the cultural identity and dignity of Bora Bora as a whole.
The result is something genuinely rare and deeply moving: exquisite food, exquisite art, and an unwavering commitment to the people and soul of this island. This is the Foundation's gift — to its guests, to its artists, and to Bora Bora itself.
